AUDIOTOOLZ is a free, browser-based audio analysis platform built for DJs, music producers, and anyone who works with audio. Our flagship tool detects the BPM (tempo) and musical key of any audio file — including the Camelot Wheel position used by professional DJs worldwide for harmonic mixing.
We started with one simple frustration: most online audio tools either require expensive subscriptions, force you to upload your files to a remote server, or are cluttered with dark patterns designed to push you toward a paid tier. We wanted something different.

Every tool on AUDIOTOOLZ runs entirely within your browser. When you drop an audio file onto the analyser, it is processed using the Web Audio API — a built-in capability of modern browsers — and nothing is ever transmitted to any server.
This approach has three major advantages: your music remains completely private, analysis results are instant (there's no upload wait time), and the tools work regardless of file size.
Our key detection uses chromagram analysis, building a frequency fingerprint of your track and comparing it against all 24 major and minor key profiles. Our BPM detection uses onset energy autocorrelation — measuring rhythmic pulses in your audio across a range of tempos to find the best match.
We're actively developing additional tools including an audio converter, audio cutter, tempo changer, pitch shifter, and AI-powered vocal remover. All tools will follow the same philosophy: free, private, and client-side wherever technically possible.
